Senior Model Reps--IN TRAINING !!

I have been working and shooting this group of girls for many years now.  One of them is now an official SRP Senior Model Rep for the Class of 2016 !   I had 45 minutes in between senior ball sessions a few weeks ago so they came down and we did a uber-fast-mini sesh !  I was trying a new piece of equipment that I just purchased and wanted more test subjects !  These girls are hilarious and they always bring out my dorky, crazy and want to be young side !!  I appreciate their inner beauty more than they will ever know.  I appreciate their humor and I love watching them grow up and be more and more comfortable in front of my camera.  Thank you girls for being YOU !!!

Have you always looked forward to your Senior Ball ?  I never really thought I would go to senior ball before my senior year, but yes I have looked forward to it.

Who was your date ?  My date was my boyfriend, Francisco Quintana.

Can you tell me more about his suit & style ?  He's very fashionable, always dresses very nice. 

Where did you find your dress ? 
I found my dress at Nordstroms at the Hillsdale Mall.

What did you love most about your dress ?  I loved the color, and that it was so simple yet elegant. Perfect for a "Black Tie Affair" theme.

Tell me about your shoes & jewelry !
My shoes were the same shoes that I wore to the homecoming dance. My necklace was a Christmas present from Francisco.

Who did your hair & makeup ? 
Hair and makeup was done by my good friend Paige Domgaard.
 
What are your plans after high school ?  I plan to graduate high school then attend San Diego State University .

What's one of the best things about your senior ball evening ? 
My favorite part was dressing up, getting my nails, hair, and makeup done.

Why did you pick SRP to take your senior ball photos ? 
I chose SRP because of the amazing pictures/ quality, plus the photographer always makes everything fun so that her clients have fun with it and enjoy their session.

Brittany at the Dixon High Senior Ball !!!

Have you always looked forward to your Senior Ball ?  Senior Ball is something that I have been looking forward to since my boyfriends ball. When I was a sophomore in high school, getting the opportunity to attend Chase's Senior Ball sparked an excitement in me that I've since looked forward to. Now getting that chance to share it with him has made my Senior experience even better!

Who was your date ?  My boyfriend, who I am proud to say four years of, was my date to my Senior Ball! I felt privileged holding his arm being that he is in the service (but now permanently home). I felt like a princess standing next to him in his uniform.

Can you tell me more about his uniform ?  My boyfriend has been recently honorably discharged from the service; the United States Army. Being that it is a formal, he got to wear his uniform for one of the last times. His ocean blue jacket with his deep black pants, along with all of his medals symbolize his service to our country. Having been honored with student first class, Chase has medals and badges that range from his sniper skills all the way to his class smarts.

Where did you find your dress ?  I first found my dress from Nordstrom about a year ago during my Junior year. I fell in love with it from the moment I saw it. When time came, I then found my dress at David's Bridal where I then ordered it straight from Texas. My favorite dress yet!

What did you love most about your dress ?  Something I love most about my dress was how flattering it was, the elegance of it and especially the deep 'V' for the back. I also loved that it was an ivory white, I felt like I stood out, but in a good way. I also just wanted to look nice standing next to my boyfriends uniform.

Tell me about your shoes & jewelry ! My original shoes were from Aldo, but the ones I took pictures in were from Charlotte Russe. It was last minute and I didn't want to be too tall. My jewelry came from Charming Charlie's! Simple and not too much, my favorite piece was my earrings! My more sentimental jewelry, like my rings, came from my boyfriend!

Who did your hair & makeup ?    I had Edith Perez do both of my makeup and hair! I found her through a modeling gig and once I saw her work, I had no doubt that she'd make my hair and makeup look gorgeous! She was inexpensive and made the experience worth while!

What are your plans after high school ?  My plans after high school are to go to a four year university, double majoring with Neuroscience and Criminal Justice! Once I go to college, if things don't look up, I then plan on taking a gap year to have a stable job, take online classes, and then reapply to college! I'm excited for what my future holds, I want to change the lives of many:)

What's one of the best things about your senior ball evening ?  The absolute best thing about my Senior Ball evening was the dance Chase and I shared. The DJ played a slow song and as Chase and I were one of the few couples who took the floor, we were able to share a very sentimental moment because the last time we shared a song, was at his Senior Ball.

Why did you pick SRP to take your senior ball photos ?  The reason for my choosing of SRP for my Senior Ball pictures is due to our past experiences together! I am an old client of her's and had her take my Dance Recital pictures! I plan on having her take my Senior graduating pictures!

Dixon High School Senior Session featuring Alyssa !

I had so much fun at this session.  Alyssa is a senior at Dixon High School.  I first got to know her about 4 years ago at the Dixon May Fair.  She was showing her lamb and I immediately noticed the intensity in her form and face.  She was in the ring to win and show the judge her quality of showmanship.  I was impressed and honestly went out of my way to watch when her age group was showing.  I have a feeling that Alyssa lives her life just like she does in the ring.  With a high quality and a standard that she sets for herself.  I have enjoyed watching her grow up into a beautiful young lady that's got her entire life in front of her.  Thank you for letting me capture this time in your life Alyssa !! 

     What are your goals after high school ?   My biggest accomplishment so far has to be me getting into college. I am going to be the first in my family to attend a four year university so that's pretty exciting!  My plans after graduation are to have an amazing summer with my hometown friends. In the fall I will attend the university of Alabama, where I will be spending the next four years training to be an officer in the army through ROTC and major in nursing.

What would your friends say that you say all the time ?  My friends would say that I say,"OMG" all the time. My amazing friends make me happy! God blessed me with amazing people  I can surround myself with.

 What does your perfect day look like ?  The perfect day for me would start out with waking up in a Oceanside beach house near San Fransisco, and take run on the beach. Then I would spend the rest of my day in San Fransisco, go shopping with no budget at the farmers market and union square, ride the trolley cars and at the end of the day eat dim sum for dinner and then go to the top of the Trans America pyramid at night to see the night life of San Fransisco. There is just something about that city that holds a place in my heart.

What's the last good deed you have done ?  My last good deed would have to be, helping out at the Public Service Academy Christmas party. At this party the PS Academy puts on a party for the less fortunate families of Dixon, where we hand out food, presents and much more. It was a good way to give back to my community and help out those in need!

   If your on a deserted island what food/drinks do you bring with you ?  My perfect meal would have to be authentic Indian food.

Why did you choose Steph Riedel Senior Photography ?   I chose Stephanie Riedel photography because I loved the way she made everyone look amazing in there Senior pictures. There were also cool unique backgrounds in everyone's photos too! Stephanie has taken pictures for a 15th birthday party I was in and she did an amazing job with the pictures and from that day I knew that I was going to use Stephanie for my senior pictures!
